Finance Meetings – Autumn 2008
Meetings have been organised in each deanery in October and November to discuss all matters relating to church finance.
Whilst they may appeal primarily to church treasurers and churchwardens, they will be helpful to all those interested in parish finances and everyone is welcometo attend. Please do make sure that someone from your parish does attend.
These meetings will cover an overview of:
- Central support from the Church in Wales
- The Diocesan budget
- Parish Share
- Parish finances and how much is needed for a parish to pay its way
- Charity Commission developments and whether you need to register
- Stewardship
There will be time to answer questions and to ensure that parishes have a better understanding of what the future looks like.
All meetings start at 7pm.
