Our vision for children in our diocese is
- the Church becomes good news for children and young people wherever they are.
- our churches are places that truly welcome and nurture children and young people as part of the worshipping community.
- children and young people have opportunities to develop their own spirituality through worship.
- children and young people should be encouraged to develop their gifts and talents.
- the Church of children and young people is able to exist other than on the traditional day in the traditional building.
- schools are recognised as vital to discipleship.
