Mission-shaped Ministry course
gets off to a good start

Over ninety people gathered in the church of St Joseph’s, Cwmaman, on Saturday April 25th to hear Bishop Dominic speak about our God of Mission.

Martin Atkins, National General Secretary of the Methodist Church and Secretary of the Methodist Conference was also with us throughout the day. He introduced us to the observations of the Mission-shaped Church report and some of the rather frightening statistics about church attendance. He also encouraged us with the vision of a mixed ecology of church for the future and the subsequent call for people to be involved in Fresh Expressions of Church.

The MSM course continues for the next twelve months.
