The Bishop ordained three priests and seven deacons in Newport Cathedral on Saturday morning, 27th June, and one deacon in Cwmtillery on Monday 29th June
An ordination is always a time of great joy and the Cathedral was filled to overflowing with people who had travelled from the parishes in which the new clergy will be ministering.
The preacher was Rt Revd Anthony Pierce, retired Bishop of Swansea and Brecon, who had just spent three days leading a retreat for those to be ordained.
