Diocesan House re-opens

The refurbishment of 64 Caerau Road has been completed (apart from ‘snagging’ items - the staff are now well-up on building terms!) and re-opened in December. The staff moved out of the Portacabin and back into their smart new offices and the Bishop came and re-christened it ‘Diocesan House’.
Pictured by the front door are Oscar, the foreman (on left) and Mark, one of the band of workmen who laboured briskly and cheerfully to make a splendid job of the refurbishment.
As well as a necessary upgrading of facilities to meet the requirements of legislation, there is now a welcoming downstairs reception area and a much-improved meeting room with kitchen.
This is the first facelift for our diocesan offices in the 24 years since the building was bought for the diocese - and very smart it looks.
