Welcome to Stella
Stella Schultz, our new Diocesan Secretary, comes to us with experience of the job - she was Diocesan Secretary of the Diocese of Bangor
Stella was born in Newport and is a graduate (BSc Hons) of the London School of Economics. Prior to her appointment in Bangor in 1999, she was Head of Information Management for the Countryside Council of Wales and is trained in IT, systems and business analysis and financial management and control. She has a wide knowledge of the Church in Wales, charity law and the challenges and opportunities for the Church today. She is a Welsh speaker.
The Bishop says: “Stella feels a strong sense of vocation as a Diocesan Secretary and I am pleased to welcome her as a member of my staff team and look forward to her contribution in serving the ministry and mission of the diocese.”
Stella says: “I am delighted to be joining the Monmouth Diocesan team. I have a hard act to follow but I look forward to getting to know the diocese and to serving in whatever way I can to further its mission.”
