The Diocesan Inspector is appointed by the Parsonage Board. Part of his duty is the periodic inspection of Parsonage houses to assess their condition and to advise the Board on repairs needed. Clerics are required to permit him, or workmen authorised by him, to enter the premises at any reasonable time after due notice. Inspections will also be made prior to a Vacancy.
