Minor Canon for Newport Cathedral

An exciting and rewarding post at this cathedral with its large parish at the heart of the City of Newport in S.E. Wales. The person would be in Priest’s Orders, and would be in a team of 3 stipendiary clergy based on one of Wales’ most ancient churches. Our varied parish has a daughter church (St Martin’s-in-the Gaer).

We seek someone with proven pastoral gifts to take responsibility within a friendly family environment where there are emphases on teaching, liturgy and musical excellence. Fine choir with regular broadcasts. Abilities in team work with administrative/IT skills essential. Four bedroom house opposite the cathedral.
