- President’s Address
- Vocations Strategy for the Church in Wales

Motion: That the Governing Body
- affirm the urgent need for the Church in Wales, under God, to seek out and nurture vocations to ordained ministry;
- welcome the Provincial initiative to embark on a five- year Vocations strategy;
- ask every level of the Church, parishes, deaneries, and dioceses, to collaborate with the Provincial Strategy in seeking to foster such vocations.

Motion:That the Governing Body:- welcome the Report on burial grounds entitled ‘The Church in Wales and its burial grounds’;
- recognise with gratitude the money, time and energy invested by parishioners since Disestablishment in maintaining churchyards as significant community assets for the benefit of the whole community;
- note the projected cost of future maintenance and improvement of churchyards;
- propose that, once closed for burials, churchyards should be maintained at public expense by community councils or Local Authorities;
- call upon the Welsh Assembly Government together with Local Authorities to develop a coordinated and planned approach to the provision and maintenance of burial space between all providers
- encourage discussion with community councils, local authorities and other relevant bodies at a national and local level to explore ideas for looking after closed churchyards.

Motion:That pursuant to Section 1 of the Canon for experimental use of proposed revisions of the Book of Common Prayer provisionally approved by the Bench of Bishops promulgated on 29 September 1955, the Governing Body hereby assent to the experimental use for a period not exceeding three years of ‘Marriage Services for use in the Church in Wales in addition to the Services contained in the 1662 and 1984 Prayer Books’ (printed March 2010).
- Date and Place of Next Meeting
The Governing Body has decided that the next Ordinary Meeting be held on 22 and 23 September 2010 at the University of Wales, Lampeter.
That the Statement setting out ethical principles for investment marked “Ethical Investment Policy” and dated 22 March 2010 be adopted as part of the Province’s investment policy.
